The brighter hues of the grass and flowers that surround the trail towards the grandiose Mount. Kanyagtiw makes you appreciate the view as you pass through the tall trees, crops that also serve as the staple food and the source of income of the citizens of Sison. It provides a perfect spot for climbing and trekking that offers a picturesque panoramic view at the peak of the mountain, which stretches from Barangay Gacepan, Mayag and Ima. This can be reached after a 15 – minute ride through a public vehicle called the “habal- habal” from the center of the municipality or can be reached in 20 minutes if using a private car.
A number of rivers and waterfalls can also be found in different barangays throughout the municipality but the waterfalls in Biyabed and San Pablo are already well – known to the locality of Sison named the Biyabed seven-tiered waterfalls and San Pablo waterfalls that reinvigorate and refresh the mind and body of the people who seek out escape from the hustle and bustle of the urban life.
